Athletic Events for the Week-- Final Home MS Football Game on Tuesday, Oct. 11th at 5:00pm. HS Volleyball home on Thursday, Oct. 12th against Trinidad beginning at 4:30. Cross Country running in Monte Vista on Friday, Oct. 13th beginning at 9:00am. HS Football travels to Del Norte on Friday, Oct. 13th game begins at 7:00pm. And on Saturday, Oct. 14th HS Volleyball will travel to Monte Vista. Games begin at 10:00am.

Middle School End of Season Volleyball Tournament will be Saturday, Oct. 7th in Antonito. The Middle School Volleyball girls must be at the school at 6:45am on Saturday morning, the bus will leave at 7:00am. Below are the updated brackets.
Middle School End of Season Volleyball Tournament is here. Today we have 3 games here. Your A-Team will play the winner of Centauri vs Monte Vista at 6:30, the B-Team will play Centauri at 5:30, and the C-Team will travel to Monte Vista to play the Pirates at 6:30. The pig-tail game between Centauri and Monte Vista will begin at 4:30 here in Center.
Here are the brackets for the End of Season Middle School Volleyball Tournaments. The tournament will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7th in Antonito. Games will begin at 8:00am. Come support your MS Volleyball teams.

Center Parks & Rec needs 2 volunteer basketball coaches for Youth Girls Basketball. We need a head coach for the 3rd & 4th Grade Team and a head coach for the 5th & 6th Grade Team. WE NEED TO FILL THESE COACHING POSITIONS ASAP (TODAY). We would also like to have an assistant for each of those teams. If we don’t get a head coach for the 3rd and 4th Grade team, we will have to go from 3 teams to 2 teams, which will significantly cut each player’s playing time. If we don’t get a head coach for the 5th & 6th Grade team, we will have to cancel the season. Parents, tomorrow, 9/21/23, is our ICAP (Individual Carer & Academic Planning) Day for MS/HS. We have a fun schedule planned to include field trips. Most of the students in grades 7-12 are touring ASU and TSC in Alamosa. They will be back for lunch and the early release. Some signed up for trips to Durango, Gunnison, or Pueblo. They will be back by 4 PM. We will be providing lunch. All of the 6th graders get to do a Challenge Course in South Fork at the Beaver Creek Youth Camp. They will leave at 8 and return by 1 PM. We will also provide lunch. This is a required school day, and students will receive a grade for their attendance in their ICAP classes. Thank you for your help making sure students attend!
