For the 2nd-5th graders, one of the activities is the Climbing Wall at Adams State University. However, there is a form you need to fill out so they can participate in climbing. Center High School 1st Round of District Basketball will be Tuesday, Feb. 21st. Girls will be playing at home against the Sargent Farmers at 6:00pm, and the boys will travel to Del Norte to take on the Tigers, game will be at 6:30pm. Winners will play on Friday in Del Norte.
Congratulations to our Center Vikings! Come celebrate our Viking Wrestlers as they return to town at around 2:15 pm! Four state placers and finished 15th as a team. Way to go Vikings!
Our wrestling HS boys will be back into town around 2:15 PM today. Please come cheer them on while we come thru town to celebrate their medals (4 of them)! We haven't had this many student placers in the wrestling state tournament in over 20 years!

Based on the current road conditions and the amount of snow that we received in Center today, we will be canceling school tomorrow, February 16th. You all demonstrated your Viking strength and fortitude today. Thank you for your positive, understanding attitude. This will give the district, the city, and the state time to clear roads and sidewalks for safe travel. Thanks to our transportation department for an amazing job today . The weather took a pretty dramatic turn after 6:30 am this morning and I know that made for some pretty difficult driving conditions. Center will run on a normal schedule today with buses running routes at 4:00 pm. Parents/Families who would like to check students out early have that option. Currently, the snow is predicted to stop at 3:00 pm, but as we know, that can change. Please, always do what is best for your students and families, despite the school status. #VikingStrong

The End of Year MS Girls Basketball Tournament is this weekend. The Center MS C-Team will be playing on Friday, Feb. 10th @ 3:00pm. The Center MS A-Team and B-Team will both be playing @ 11:20 on Saturday, Feb. 11th. Come out and support your MS Girls Basketball teams.
Attention Parents: The HS Basketball game that was to be played tonight @ Trinidad has been canceled due to weather in Trinidad. This game is being moved to Monday, Feb. 13th. Varsity Girls will begin at 4:00pm, followed by the boys. Only the Varsity teams will be playing.
