Attention Center Parents & Youth Athletes:
Play fall sports! One of the best things that can come out of playing sports is the relationships kids build with their peers. Sports build relationships, giving kids the opportunity to spend time with their friends, bond over their experiences, work hard together, and compete in a healthy way against each other.

Hello Center Community,
We hope you have all had a wonderful summer. It’s amazing how fast the summer has flown by. We are excited to have your kids back in school with us. With Covid still present in our midst we are going to do all we can to continue to keep students and staff safe.
Over the break we have gained some great staff members. Ms. Morris will be joining the Kindergarten team. She has taught Kindergarten for several years and will be a strong contributor to the team. Ms. Gjellum has great experience in teaching ELA from another district in the Valley and we are excited to have her in 2nd grade. We were able to hire Brooke Slane who grew up in the Valley from a school district in Pueblo. She will be a great asset to the 3rd grade team. Jacob Mosher did his student teaching with us last year and will be in 5th grade. He will be a great addition to the team. And we are excited to announce that we have a new assistant principal. Her name is Krystal Bouet. She and I are excited to work with you and your awesome kids this year. She wanted to take a couple minutes and introduce herself below.
We are excited to get this new year rolling. The Haskin Elementary staff will be working hard to ensure your child gets the best education possible. We will be reaching out to you for help. Please find time to read with your child every night and make sure they get their homework done. Also, make sure they get to bed on time so they have plenty of energy to learn with the next day.
If your child has a cough, runny nose, head ache, or fever, or any other symptoms, please keep them home until all their symptoms are gone. We will continue to take kids’ temperatures as we greet them every morning for school. We are serious about keeping all kids safe this year again.
Please feel free to come in and speak with us or give us a call about any concerns you have. 754-3982
Thanks,
Mr. Morgan and Ms. Bouet
Hello Center Vikings! I am excited to be joining this team! Already everyone has been so welcoming. A little about myself, I attended Adams State, which is what brought me to the Valley. I have been in education for 14 years. I have experience in teaching first, second, fourth grade, as well as k-12 ELL, and interventions for reading/math. I have three children that will be here at Center Schools with me. On my free time, I like to exercise, try and make old furniture “new” again, garden, and read a book without falling asleep! I look forward to the school year and meeting the students, staff, and community members of this district. My door is always open, so please stop by to visit.
Ms. Bouet
