Orientation for the 6th grade starts at 12 PM today with lunch in the cafeteria. We are excited to see all of our new 6th graders. Tomorrow, students will leave at 7 PM for their college visit and mall visit in Pueblo. We will provide lunch at the cafeteria at CSU. Attached is the agenda. We will have permission forms at CHAMP and will also send forms home today. Students must bring them tomorrow.

Hi parents! Sending a final reminder about tomorrow. We are looking forward to seeing your new 6th and 9th graders. They will start at noon in the cafeteria with lunch. They do not need to bring anything. The day will end at about 3;50. They can also finish up their registration process, and they can do their sports physical at 4. Parents must be present for that. Seniors should contact Mrs. Ruggles by 9 if they are able to help. On Friday, both groups will leave at 7 AM from the school. Sixth grade will go to Pueblo for a college visit at CSU and go to the mall. They will return about 5:30. Ninth grade will go to Buena Vista to raft and will return about 3:30. A reminder that tomorrow, August 10th will be CHAMP registration from 9:00 am- 5:00 pm. Tomorrow evening will be our annual Open House from 4:30- 6:30 pm with a barbeque and prizes! We can't wait to see all of our Viking Family tomorrow!

All incoming 6th and 9th grade students start school on August 10th. School will run from 12-4 PM. This is a required day of school. We will have lunch. This will be the orientation for the students starting a new school (MS or HS). At 4 PM, students can get a free sports' physical. Parents must be present for the physicals. All students need a physical to play a sport. Registration for school will also be happening from 9 AM to 5 PM. We will have an open house from 5-7 PM that night too. We will have food at open house!
