Free sports physicals happening tonight until 6:30pm. If you are a MS or HS athlete wanting to participate in sports this year, you need a physical. Hope to see you tonight.
To All CHS, ARC and CVA Students: In order to prepare for the new school year we will be resetting the Odysseyware Program and any course work that was started before June 1st , 2023 and is still not completed by August 1st, 2023 will be archived. Any work started during the summer school session will also be archived at that time. A failing grade will be entered into the transcript for the unfinished coursework. If you need to make arrangements to continue coursework after August 1st, 2023 please contact the ARC and speak with Ms. Werner or Ms. Rendon.
Para cualquier estudiante de CHS, ARC o CVA: Para preparar para el nuevo año escolar, restableceremos el Programa Odysseyware y archivamos cualquier curso que se haya iniciado antes del 1 de junio de 2023 y que aún no se haya completado antes del 1 de agosto de 2023. Cualquier trabajo comenzado durante la sesión de la escuela de verano también se archivarán en ese momento. Se registrará una calificación reprobatoria en el expediente académico del trabajo de curso que no ha sido completado. Comuníquese con la Sra. Werner o la Sra. Reminder that sports physicals will be held this Thursday, July 20th at 5:00pm in the gym. In an effort to keep wait times down, there will be a staggered arrival times as follows: Last names starting with: A - G @ 5:00pm, H - O @ 5:45pm, and P - Z @ 6:30PM. Parents MUST BE PRESENT at physicals. Contact your coach for further questions. A huge thanks to Ashley Voss and SLV Health for putting on the sports physicals for out students!!

En un esfuerzo por reducir los tiempos de espera, habrá horarios de llegada escalonados de la siguiente manera: Apellidos que comiencen con: A - G a las 5:00 p. m., H - O a las 5:45 p. m. y P - Z a las 6:30 p. m. Attention HS Football Players.....there will be a HS Football Meeting on Wednesday, July 19th @ 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Come out, meet the new coach, and get the schedule for the rest of the summer and beginning of the school year. Football season is right around the corner. Let's go Viking Football!!

The MS Yearbooks are IN!! Mrs. Bishop will be at the school today, until 11:30am, to hand out yearbooks. Come get them.

We leave for the overnight UNC college visit tomorrow at 7 AM from the school. We have called all students/parents who made the list. We, unfortunately, had more students sign up than we have room for, so we included people on a first come, first served basis. If you are unsure if your child made the list, you can call Katrina Ruggles at 719-580-9199. Students need to bring appropriate clothes for both days.

Just a reminder about the Skoglund Middle School National Honor Society induction ceremony tonight for students who were selected. Parents of these students have received an invite, but just sending a reminder.

Parents and students in grades 8-11, you are invited to our HS transition night tomorrow, Tuesday, at 6 PM in the cafeteria. You will learn important tips for success at the next grade level and meet your counselors and other teaching staff. We are giving 50 Viking Bucks for attendance!
