The CCSD School Board will hold a work session on Thursday, August 8th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Superintendent Zimmerman's office to interview interested applicants for the vacant Board seat.
Mrs. Ruggles is looking for volunteer leaders in 8th and 12th grades who would like to help wit the 6th and 9th grade orientations on Thursday. Students can earn Viking Bucks and Seniors can earn volunteer hours. Contact Ms. Ruggles at the school at 719-754-2232 if interested!

There will be a parent meeting with students and staff at 1:30 PM in the auditorium gym. If parents cannot make it, we will get you the information, but hoping to have lots of you there. We will dismiss at 2:00 for students to get registered during CHAMP in the gym. Free sports physicals start at 3. Parents must be present. We are excited to kick off the high school journey with our incredible incoming freshmen!

We are down to three days to register for tackle football for the fall 2024. There are two age groups – 3rd & 4th Grade and 5th & 6th Grade. We are required to have a team in both age groups. The deadline for registration: Friday, June 21, 2024.

Just a reminder that we have our first meeting for the Blue Loft Relaunch tomorrow, June 20th from 5-7pm. This is for youth ages 8-12th grades.
We will be making a plan for the summer, brainstorming event ideas and having pizza. We hope to see you there!

Hello families! We are working on relaunching the Blue Loft for our youth 8th grade and up this summer. Some of our focus is on engaging youth in opportunities for leadership and entrepreneurship, along with the opportunity to host their own pop-up events. This is a great chance to get our students involved with this summer.
There are 14, $250 stipends for youth joining the team. We also encourage Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and students to get started on their capstone! Please let your kiddos know about this summer opportunity.
Our first meeting is this Thursday, June 20th from 5-7pm.
