I will be rewarding MS students for maintaining all passing grades for the 1st Semester. For their reward, I will be taking them to Hooper Pool on Wednesday, December 22nd, from 12:45pm – 4:45pm. Students will need to be picked up at the school between 5:00-5:30pm. I want to tell you that I appreciate all of your support during this 1st semester. A letter has been handed out to each one of the students that qualifies to go on the trip.
CCSD is on a regular schedule today. Please travel safely. There are extremely high winds in areas causing low visibility. Take your time coming in and we will excuse staff and students who need to wait and come in late.

Center HS quarterly finals will be next week (Mon-Wed). Each student must attend school for their quarterly finals in each class. Winter break for students starts Dec. 21 through Jan 9th. Thanks! Mr. Jones

Here are a couple of vaccine clinics coming up!
Saturday, December 11 at the SLVH Education/Conference Center 1921 Main Street in Alamosa. Vaccines available for ages 5-18, first or second doses (second dose must be 21 days after the first dose). Please call (719) 587-1355 to schedule.
Wednesday, December 15 at Saguache County Public Health office in Center 220 S. Worth Street in Center (the old dental office). Vaccines available for all ages and booster shots for those 18 years old and older. Please call (719) 655-2533 to schedule an appointment.

Good evening Viking Fans, your Center Lady Vikings will be playing tomorrow at 2:40pm for for third place, and your Center Vikings will be playing at 7:40pm in the Championship Game. Come out and support your HS Viking Basketball teams. Games are at Sangre HS.
The state has cancelled the vaccine clinic for tomorrow for 5-11 year olds. Saguache County Public Health has stepped in to help us out! The vaccine clinic will now be tomorrow, Friday December 3rd, from 1pm - 4pm at the high school gym! 5-11 year olds can get either their first or second dose! No registration necessary! Please spread the word!

Dear Parents,
Due to the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 in the high school, we will be requiring masks for the next two weeks at the high school for all students and staff regardless of vaccination status. Everyone should monitor themselves for any signs and symptoms of COVID-19. If you have any symptoms you should stay home and get tested. We are able to test at school as well so if any students or staff would like to be tested next week please talk to a school nurse. If students or staff do not want to wear masks please talk to Mr. Jones and arrange for your absence from school for the next two weeks. As always, masks continue to be highly encouraged for middle school students.

Debido al aumento de casos positivos de COVID-19 en la escuela secundaria, necesitaremos máscaras durante las próximas dos semanas en la escuela secundaria para todos los estudiantes y el personal, independientemente del estado de vacunación. Attention Parents of 5-11 year olds- we will have a vaccine clinic this Friday from 2-6pm in the High School gym for students ages 5-11 that need their first or second vaccine. Please scan the QR code on the flyer to register your student.
