September 15- 11:10 am- Center Schools is currently in a Secure status due to a possible community threat. All students and staff are safe inside the buildings, and school continues to operate as normal. Please do not come to the school as all exterior doors are locked and will remain locked until the secure is lifted. There is no need for alarm, we are just taking precautionary measures.

At approximately 3:00 pm today, the Center School District went into a secure hold for about 10 minutes out of an abundance of caution due to reported concerns in the Monte Vista area. The secure has since been lifted, and all students and staff are safe. We are proud of our students, staff, and the Center Police Department for calmly and effectively following safety protocols to ensure the well-being of everyone on campus. Thank you, team, for a job well done!

On Thursday, September 11, we will be conducting vision, hearing, and BMI screenings for all K–5 students.
